Mr. Kim is an short and slim older man with crinkling laugh lines around his eyes, a broad nose, and a pair of glasses that will just never stay in place. His dark hair has turned silver, but there’s still quite a bit of life in his brown eyes. It’s very hard to catch Mr. Kim off guard or surprise him, which is probably due to his regular Baduk games with Ms. Han. After all, a master of strategy is always hard to surprise.
He owns the Lucky Corner Store and Market and is Sam’s boss. They have known each other for years now, and Sam counts him as one of her most trustworthy friends. Though Mr. Kim is human he seems to have an understanding of the supernatural and magical communities that will prove invaluable to Sam.
